Barefoot Blonde Travel is the brand behind Travel Agent Extraordinaire - DeDe Massey with Paradise Weddings & Travel. Their specialties are destination weddings, honeymoons, baby-moons, and group travel. As an avid traveler herself, DeDe’s goal is to bring stress-free coordination to brides, couples, groups, and families’ vacations.

The Problem
DeDe’s brand needs to reflect who she is as a traveler, as well as those who she serves. With convenience in mind, simplicity is key to achieving DeDe’s customer base’s needs.
The Solution
Eye-catching colors, large text (for more mature eyes), and simple web design lending to a positive experience for anyone interacting with her brand.

Type, Color, & Logo
Simple, sans-serif text was chosen for The Barefoot Blonde’s primary use. Some of DeDe’s clients have more mature eyes, so it was important to formulate an easy-to-read aesthetic. To bring some fun to the brand, the typeface Skylar was chosen for headers and quotes.
The Barefoot Blonde’s colors reflect the bright colors that you see while traveling and in much fashion women wear on tropical vacations. To bring an extra pop of color, a secondary color pallet (purple/orange) is included.
The logo is a representation that The Barefoot Blonde can help you travel the world many times over and anywhere you want to go, hence the circles around the Earth. As secondary options, I also included an updated version of DeDe’s old Impressive Ideas (her long-time promotional products company) logo with the “fat head drawing” used throughout that brand.

Swag
My recommendation for swag options include custom sun hats for female travelers, as well as branded passport covers included with their trip details package. For staff, branded polo shirts with the Barefoot Blonde logo to wear during business and while touring resorts.
